An experienced choral conductor, Lesley Chan has achieved success in many international choral festivals. Recently, at the 17th International Choral Kathaumixw, Canada, he conducted the Wah Yan College Kowloon Boys’ Choir which won three first prizes and the ‘Choir of the World’ title as the overall Champion. The choir was also awarded the Grand Prix First Prize at the 34thTakarazuka Chamber Choir Contest in Summer 2018.

  He made his debut as opera chorus master in the 2016 Musica Viva production of Carmen, for which his work won critical appreciation, followed by La Boheme in 2017, Madama Butterfly in 2018, The Merry Widow in 2019 and Norma in 2021.

  Chan’s devotion to music education is admired internationally through his voluntary services in the Executive Committee of the HKSMSA and lectures in many overseas cities. An active composer, he has works published by the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild and performed by St. Jacob’s Choir of Sweden. He collaborates with many eminent composers. He presents radio programs on the local classical music channel - RTHK4 - on every Monday evening. 

  Lesley graduated from the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and obtained his Master of Music degree in historical musicology from the University of London. He holds a doctorate in music (composition) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is the conductor-in-residence of The Pro-Musica Society of Hong Kong.

經驗豐富的合唱指揮。近期帶領九龍華仁書院合唱團於第十七屆卡達苗世界合唱比賽(加拿大)奪得兩項冠軍及一項亞軍,並獲得總冠軍「世界合唱團」的稱號。於2018年第三十四屆寶塚國際室內合唱比賽(日本),取得總冠軍第一名。

於2016年首次擔任非凡美樂的歌劇合唱指導,合唱團於《卡門》中的演出備受好評。其後2017年的《波希米亞生涯》;2018年的《蝴蝶夫人》;2019年的《風流寡婦》及2021年的《諾瑪》同樣獲得讚賞。

陳氏熱心於音樂教育,除擔任不同公職,亦經常於不同城市的講座及研討會中發表。其音樂創作也獲得香港作曲家聯會出版,亦曾由世界知名合唱團演出。逢週一晚上,他於香港電台第四台主持古典音樂節目。

畢業於香港大學、香港演藝學院,於英國倫敦大學取得音樂碩士(歷史音樂學),並於香港中文大學完成音樂博士(作曲)。現亦為香港雅樂社駐團指揮。

William Wai-Leung Chung, baritone, choir conductor, and music teacher, holds an MMus in choral conducting from the Michigan State University, and a BA in Music from the University of Hong Kong. He studied conducting with Rolf Beck, Stephen Coker, David Rayl, Jonathan Reed, Helmuth Rilling, and Sandra Snow, and voice with Peter Lightfoot and Lan Rao. He began his career as the conductor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Students' Union Choir and was the conductor of the Greeners’ Sound. He now teaches music at St. Stephen’s College and the Hong Kong Treble Choir.

William was granted graduate assistantship during his study at Michigan State University. During his study at the University of Hong Kong, he was given the Helen Moore-Williams Music Prize, Hong Kong Children's Choir Scholarship, and the Bernard van Zuiden Music prize, in recognition of his outstanding academic performance and contribution in vocal and choral arts during his study at the university. He was awarded the best conductor in 2012 Busan Choral Festival and Competition while leading the Greeners' Sound attaining a bronze prize in classical mixed voice category. The Greeners' Sound also attained a championship in 65th Hong Kong Schools' Music Festival and Gold (A) Award in 2013 Hong Kong International Youth and Children's Choir Festival under William's conductorship.

Other than his conducting, as a singer he had performed abroad with the World Youth Choir in China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France. He currently is a member of Tallis Vocalis and performs at various occasions as a freelance singer.

鍾氏為香港年青一代合唱指揮,先後畢業於香港大學及美國密切根州立大學,隨 David Rayl、 Jonathan Reed 及 Sandra Snow 研讀合唱指揮、饒嵐女士及 Peter Lightfoot 修習聲樂,另曾接受 Rolf Beck, Stephen Coker 及Helmuth Rilling 指導指揮技巧。曾擔任綠韻及香港理工大學學生會合唱團之指揮。現任教於聖士提反書院及香港童聲合唱團。

鍾氏在學期間成績優異,分別獲頒密歇根州立大學研究生獎學金、Helen Moore-Williams Music Prize, 香港兒童合唱團獎學金及 Bernard van Zuiden Music Prize。二零一二年釜山國際合唱節鍾氏指揮綠韻於古典混聲合唱組別獲頒銅獎及最佳指揮。二零一三年分別帶領綠韻參與第四屆香港國際青少年合唱節比賽取得金獎(A),及第六十五屆香港學校音樂節公開組混聲合唱奪得冠軍。

除擔任指揮工作,鍾氏曾以合唱團員身份參與世界青年合唱團於多國演出,現為 Tallis Vocalis 團員,不時於香港各場合演唱。

Chris KC Lee

Chris KC Lee has been an active chorus member since his junior years in Wah Yan College Kowloon, and has taken part in various world-scale choral festivals with the school choir. He is one of the guest conductors of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Students’ Union Choir since 2013, the second year he joined the choir. Under Chris’ baton, the choir has achieved a second place in Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Open Class Mixed Choir Category in 2013, and Gold Award in the World Youth & Children Choir Festival Hong Kong 2015. Chris was also the conductor of The Greeners’ Sound (a local youth choral society which has achieved multiple gold medals in different world-scale choir festivals) from 2015 to 2017. This concert is the debut concert of Chris as a conductor of The Pro-Musica Society of Hong Kong.

李嘉俊,自中學階段已積極參與合唱團活動,跟隨學校合唱團參與多個世界性合唱比賽。2012年加入香港理工大學學生會合唱團,翌年即獲委任為客席指揮。2013年帶領該團參加香港學校音樂節公開組合唱比賽,獲頒亞軍;2015年帶領合唱團參加2015世界青少年合唱節--香港,獲頒金獎。除了理大學生會合唱團,李嘉俊於2015年至2017年期間擔任綠韻 (The Greeners’ Sound)駐團指揮,於2015年和2017年帶領綠韻參加香港學校音樂節公開組合唱比賽,分別獲頒冠軍和季軍。2018年首次以指揮的身份,與雅樂社一起演出。

Clement Kong

Clement was introduced to the fascinating world of choral music during his secondary school at St. Paul's College. Under the mentorship of the late Rev. Moses Wu, he started to learn choral conducting. After graduation, he had long years of choral singing experience and has sung in many choirs in Hong Kong. He has been a long standing member of the Pro-Musica Society and has participated in many of the early Urban Council's Opera productions including "Madama Butterfly", "Cavalleria Rusticana", "I Pagliacci", "Tosca", "Rigoletto", "Aida", "Il Travatore", "Turandot", "Faust" and "Tales of Hoffmann". He was the chorus master in "La Boheme" in 1984. While studying in London, he joined the London Symphony Chorus and performed Brahm's "German Requiem" at the St. Paul's Cathedral. He was also member of the BCC Symphony Chorus, and participated in the performance of Stravinsky's "Symphony of Psalms", Delius's "A Mas of Life" and Verdi's "Requiem" at the Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. He was the chorus master of the charity concert of the Hong Kong Medical Association performing Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9" in 1996. He is now the residing conductor of the Pro-Musica Society.

江志群中學就讀於聖保羅書院,接受吳東先生教導,接觸美妙的合唱音樂世界和指揮訓練。畢業後,他曾參加多個香港合唱團,有豐富合唱經驗。曾參與雅樂社合唱團為市政局演出多套歌劇,包括《蝴蝶夫人》、《鄉村武士》、《小丑情淚》、《紅伶血》、《弄臣》、《阿伊達》、《遊唱武士》、《杜蘭朵》、《浮士德》及《荷夫曼的故事》, 並於1984年擔任《陋室明娟》的合唱指導。治學倫敦期間,更參與倫敦交響合唱團於聖保羅座堂演出布拉姆斯的《德意志安魂曲》。亦參與英國廣播公司合唱團於皇家爾拔堂舉行的夏季逍遙音樂會,演出斯特拉文斯基之《詩篇交響曲》、德留斯之《生命彌撒》及威爾第之《安魂曲》。1996年為香港醫學會慈善演出貝多芬之《第九交響曲》任合唱指導,現為雅樂社合唱團指揮。
